Mountain Valor Fest 2025
Sept. 13 @ Crooked Mountain, Floyd, VA
Join us to:
Honor those lost on 9/11 and through the subsequent wars.
Connect all generations of veterans and their families with a wide range of nations, state and local resources on-site.
Foster a deeper connection between the community and the ideals of military service and heritage.
Last year, 700 folks attended, with 130 veterans receiving help then and there with a huge range of challenges. Let’s get more veterans, and the communities that support them, to come out this year and enjoy good food, entertainment and music!
Great bands, a bounce house, baby goats, food trucks, humvees and even a helicopter - MVF has something for everything!
Events
Local music before and after the Patriot Day ceremony!
All Day: vendors, resource tables, government representatives, Veteran Affairs Outreach Team, kids events, military equipment displays, and food trucks.
Are you a veteran or family member of a veteran who is confused about benefits? That’s what this is all about! Come on out and learn directly from the experts!
Need more? Observe the flag retirement ceremony, cool down in the misting tent, and check out military vehicles from past to present.
Willing to help ensure this event continues to be free? Just want to learn more? Donate here, and join our email list to grow with us and learn more about how we solve the needs of Virginia’s rural veterans.
We are grateful to all of the sponsors enabling this to be a free event. Sponsors cover the cost of emergency support, insurance, bands, marketing, facility rental, dumpsters, portapotties, signage, safety equipment, kid activities, and the Remembrance Ceremony.
